Aaron Strong - Fees and Payment

For most individual and couples/family therapy, payment is expected at the end of each session. I take cash, personal check, or Mastercard/Visa. In some cases, monthly billing statements are prepared and mailed out on the first of each month, detailing services rendered, dates of service, and any expenses incurred.

Insurance

I am a preferred provided with Premera Blue Cross, LifeWise, and First Choice Health Network. I will bill for all services.

If you are on any other plan that coveres "out of network providers," I am eligible to provide services as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Please be informed that in order to utilize your mental health benefits I will need to create a dignosis from the DSM IV and might be asked to submit limited notes regarding your treatment. Though I do not include my personal session notes I cannot guarantee complete conﬁdentiality on behalf of the insurance company.

Questions you might want to ask your insurance company:

* Do I have mental health benefits?
* Will my insurance plan cover out of network providers?
* How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?
* What is my deductible and has it been met?
* How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
* What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
* Is approval required from my primary care physician?

I require at least 24 hours advance notice for appointment cancellations; otherwise you will be charged a full one-hour fee for the missed appointment.

Rates

In-office individual psychotherapy & counseling $110/hour

In-office couples and family psychotherapy & counseling $120/hour

Out-of-office (in-home or out-and-about) counseling, activities, medical calls, etc $95/hour*

Ask about my student rates, if you are a full-time student.

*Fees charged for out-of-office calls include drive-time starting from & returning to my Capitol Hill office. There are no “mileage charges.”
